As the Financial Accountant in this brand-new role, you will be pivotal in managing financial accounting expertise within the Finance team, with a strong focus on tax, cash management, cash forecasting, and the production of management information, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial records.

What we need from you?

• All aspects of cash management including bank reconciliations, cash forecasting, online banking, and petty cash.
• Monthly Control Account reconciliations
• Tax including VAT returns, corporation tax, PAYE, and P11D.
• Year-end reconciliations and preparation of Statutory Accounts.
• Support the production of monthly management accounts, including monthly consolidation.
• Payroll - Preparation and submission/payment
• Managing the delivery of financial statements to strict deadlines.
• Assist with preparing quarterly financial forecasts.

What you need to succeed?

• Ideally you will be ACCA or ACA qualified.
• 3 years’ experience in financial management ideally within an accounting practice.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, payroll, and financial reporting standards.
• Be a dynamic, forward-thinking, solutions-focused team player, who delivers excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
