Robert Walters - Financial Accountant - Permanent - Dudley (hybrid working)

Our client, are looking for a Financial Accountant for the production of year end statutory accounts which requires both IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge. You will be the key contact for the external auditors working closely Finance team to complete the annual audit.

Location: Dudley (hybrid working)
Contract hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £50,000-£55,000 per annum

Key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant

* Assist in controlling the integrity of all balance sheets ensuring best practice is adhered to
* Focused on solutions, constantly working to ensure that all statutory submissions are on time
* Complete Group Financial Reporting, which requires you to work across company boundaries and systems
* Responsible for posting monthly Intercompany transactions and processing invoices in line with group policy and processes

Key essentials of the Financial Accountant

* Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA)
* Strong technical and analytical skills
* Knowledge of the external audit process
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
