Financial Accountant

About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Accountant to join a dynamic team, working for a business going through significant growth. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring their financial and operational performance aligns with the company's strategic objectives. Your expertise will be crucial in producing meaningful reports that drive informed business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Financial Accounts team to meet and exceed targets.
• Prepare statutory accounts.
• Produce accurate monthly management accounts, including profit and loss and balance sheet reports.
• Manage financial policies and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
• Oversee tax compliance, VAT returns, and the P11D process.
• Maintain consistent balance sheet reporting and manage cash positions effectively.
• Ensure all aspects of monthly management accounts are accurately reported.
• Lead the month-end timetable and manage intercompany processes.
• Drive improvements in finance processes and systems.
• Perform ad hoc duties to support business objectives.

Person Specification:

• Must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Demonstrated experience in an Accountant role or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
• Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and commercial acumen.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage deadlines.
