Financial Accountant | Consumer Group | Leicestershire (hybrid) | £55-60k plus bonus and benefits

An opportunity has arisen to join an instantly recognisable consumer group in a high-profile Financial Accounting role. As part of an impressive financial reporting team, this is a broad role that will offer strong performers the opportunity to develop and progress at pace. Finance is well-regarded internally and is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and transparency of the organisation whilst driving commercial decision-making.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Technical accounting compliance - ensuring the accuracy of balance sheet entries
• Analysis of financial statements, identifying any errors or irregularities and rectifying them in an efficient fashion
• External reporting - preparation of financial statements for review by senior stakeholders and investors

Candidates will be qualified accountants with a strong technical skill-set, likely gained in a Big 4 audit firm. They will have a genuine interest in financial reporting and will see a move of this ilk as a meaningful stepping stone in their career.
