We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role is crucial for ensuring the UK finance team excels in local issues while supporting broader group finance objectives. With our business expanding rapidly, adaptability is key as the role evolves with our changing business needs.

• Complete all aspects of monthly accounting for UK, Ireland, and other corporate entities, including journal postings, balance sheet reconciliations, and required analysis.
• Manage the intercompany reconciliation process for the UK, Ireland, and Corporate companies.
• Assist in Group and local year-end reporting processes, including preparing audit schedules and liaising with auditors.
• Draft year-end statutory financial statements for UK and Ireland entities under IFRS.
• Prepare and file VAT returns and related reporting for UK and Ireland entities.
• Support tax advisers with information requests for year-end tax compliance.
• Conduct cash flow modelling and analysis to optimise the cash position of the UK and Ireland companies.
• Work on improving controls, procedures, and reporting documentation.
• Engage in projects to enhance the efficiency of the finance team as the business grows.

• Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant with a recognised qualification or qualified by experience.
• Practical accounting experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate level Excel skills.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage with finance and non-finance individuals.
