Financial Accountant

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to join an exciting Professional Services company experiencing huge growth based in Bristol. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:

£55,000 - £65,000 plus bonus and hybrid remote working

Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Prepare the company's financial accounts for audit ensuring they are presented
  accurately and on time
• Complete and file the annual Corporation Tax returns and quarterly VAT returns
• Capex and cashflow management
• Support acquisition due diligence and integration
• Prepare and file the Group and it's subsidiaries corporation tax returns
• Complete and file the Groups quarterly VAT returns and annual PSA's
• Provide support on acquisition activity from due diligence support through to post
  transaction integration
• Liaise with the company solicitors and accountants to support the corporate restructure
• Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure
  effective and efficient financial management within the company

Person specification:

• Qualified ACA or ACCA
• Strong technical accounting knowledge - understanding of UK GAAP
• Knowledge of UK Payroll and of HMRC's requirements
• Good communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders
