Financial Accountant

Transparent is proud to continue to support this dynamic and forward-thinking business in the recruitment of a Reporting Accountant. In this newly created role, you would form part of the cohesive finance team.

Your role would be to support the smooth running of the financial reporting of the business with a particular emphasis on statutory accounts and audit.

This role would suit someone with an audit background and someone who has closed statutory accountants and has taken full ownership of the audit process.

Main duties will include:

- Be the main point of contact for auditors across the group of companies

- Investigation and resolution of audit queries

- Production of annual statutory accounts, as well as reconciliation to trial balance

- Preparation and production of tax packs

- Month-end close support to include accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations

- Contribution of ideas to support changes in order to take the business forward

The Person:

- Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA)

- Strong audit background

- Statutory accounts preparation experience

- Experience in a multi-entity environment
