Looking for an exceptional career opportunity in Finance? Join our client, a rapidly growing business within the financial services sector, based in London. As the Financial Accountant, you'll have the chance to play a lead role in the financial operations of this high-growth group and work closely with key stakeholders across the business. This is a hybrid working position, allowing you to work from home 2 days per week. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and construct finance systems, focusing on data structures.
• Reconciliations, VAT returns, prepayments/accruals, and journals.
• Generate reports from systems like Xero and QuickBooks.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts.
• Review annual statutory accounts and corporate tax filings.
• Investigate and address technical accounting inquiries.
  
  

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Currently pursuing ACCA or ACA certification.
• Experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Proficient in bookkeeping and management accounts.
• Familiarity with accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage One/Live.
