The Company
Our client is a fast-growing, privately owned investment group with ambitious growth plans. They have investments in a diverse portfolio with future investments in process. Due to this investment strategy, they need to strengthen their finance team with a newly qualified Financial Accountant.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for aiding the accuracy and timeliness of reporting within the finance department, focussing on financial reporting and statutory consolidation.

Duties will include:

  • Month end reporting, reconciliations, reviews and analysis in line with company deadlines
  • Ensuring balance sheet accounts are accurate in terms of asset or liability of the company
  • Accurate and on-time consolidation of statutory accounts (UK GAAP and IFRS)
  • Group reporting requirements and other regulatory reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly trading and cash forecasts
  • Ensure adequate financial controls are in place and adhered to and assist in budget preparation

The Person
ACA or ACCA qualified with a strong technical background and excellent academics, you may be in practice looking for your first move into industry. You may be an auditor in practice or already in industry in a similar role. This is a great role for someone looking to join a thriving investment group with a diverse portfolio working in a small, friendly finance team.
