Your new company are an impressive, progressive PE Backed Logistics business based in Manchester. They've been operating for over 50 years and have seen a substantial amount of growth over recent years thanks to a number of successful acquisitions.

Your new role
In your new role as Senior Financial Accountant you will own the delivery of accurate statutory and financial reporting in accordance with the Groups policies and procedures. You will assist with the preparation of the annual consolidated accounts and subsidiary accounts. You will be be the point of contact for the auditors and co-ordinate information when required. You will also prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and value added reporting including detailed variance analysis of Monthly results to Forecast, Budget and Prior year with full Commentary on variances giving complete insight into what is driving the variances

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this exciting yet progressive opportunity and business. You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified and have previous experience working within large complex and demanding businesses. You will hold excellent excel skills, high attention to detail, passionate about accounting principles and financial reporting.
