Financial Accountant

Our client, based in Hoddesdon is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team. What you'll do:

As a Financial Accountant you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of the company. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing general ledgers, creating monthly overhead reports, supporting the production of consolidated management accounts & reports, preparing tax compliance activities, ensuring financial controls' integrity, and supporting external audits. You will also undertake regular analysis of key cost lines and participate in ad hoc projects as required. This role requires a high level of accuracy, analytical ability, initiative-taking, effective communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Financial Accounting & Reporting Accountant position brings a strong academic background or AAT Level 4 qualification/Part qualified status. You should have intermediate Excel proficiency coupled with strong numerical and analytical abilities. Your ability to exercise initiative, communicate effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels, and deliver accurate time-critical information will be key to your success in this role.

On offer:
