Financial Accountant

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to join an exciting Professional Services company experiencing huge growth based near central Bristol. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:

£38,000 - £47,500 plus excellent benefits including study support for CIMA/ACCA (if required), hybrid remote working and subsidised gym membership

Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Assist in the preparation of the monthly reporting
• Responsible for bringing the accounts to trial balance, preparing the financial accounts and take responsibility for aspects of the general ledger which are under your control
• Support the Financial Accounting Manager to liaise with external and internal auditors
• Assist with other Finance related projects and support the more junior members of the team in completing, reviewing, and improving month end procedures and reconciliations

Person specification:

• Currently studying or qualified CIMA/ACCA
• Competent in month end procedures and balance sheet reconciliations
• Able to use your initiative to resolve reconciliation issues and discrepancies
• Have good communication skills and be able to naturally build positive relationships
• Be competent in identifying better and smarter ways of doing things and question the value in tasks you are set
