Financial Accountant

Marks Sattin has partnered with a FTSE listed real estate business who are in search of an interim financial accountant on a 9 Month assignment.

**Position:** Financial Accountant (9-month Fixed Term Contract)
**Salary:** £60,000 - £65,000 per annum
**Start Date:** End of April/Early May
**Location:** Central London (3 Days in Office per week)

**Role Overview:**

Join a dynamic financial reporting team supporting key processes including half-yearly results, quarterly joint venture reporting, statutory accounts, and corporation tax returns. This role offers a unique opportunity for growth and development within a renowned real estate company.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist the reporting team in project managing and preparing annual financial statements for approximately 70-80 statutory accounts.

- Conduct quarterly analytical reviews of actual performance versus budget/forecast.

- Support the annual corporation tax returns process, including iXBRL statutory accounts tagging for HMRC filing.

- Undertake financial analysis to evaluate the financial strength of new and existing customers.

- Participate in ad hoc tasks and projects as needed throughout the year.

**Candidate Profile:**

- Qualified accountant CA/ACA (or equivalent) via a Top 4 Audit Firm

- Experience or Interest in working with a Group Finance function.

- Confident communicator with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.

- Flexible and adaptable to changing workloads and financial deadlines.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Proficient in Microsoft applications.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Ability to anticipate customer requirements and manage multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines.
