Financial Accountant - Financial Services Sector

Are you a senior accountant within the financial services sector looking for your next challenging role? A very successful business with strong market presence are looking to hire a senior accountant for a 12 month fixed term contract position.

This role will offer hybrid working (office based 1 or 2 days of 5 a week), a bonus, car allowance, healthcare and strong pension scheme. The company really reward their staff and often long term contractors become permanent employees. This is a 1 year fixed term contract.

This role will provide technical accounting regarding regulatory reporting and change activity, working closely with the senior leadership team.

Key aspects of the position include:

- Providing technical expertise in applying and resolving issues based upon IFRS9

- Providing pricing queries, fund accounting and taxation

- Monitoring regulatory accounting

- Providing technical review of consolidated IFRS and statutory accounts and entity reporting deliverables

- Provide risk management

This role would be perfect for:
