Financial Accountant - Engineering Industry - Cramlington

Adecco are delighted to be working with a leading manufacturer who are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team. As an innovation leader in the manufacturing industry, our client is looking for an ambitious, forward-thinking individual to support their UK Country Financial Controller in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and driving financial reporting and control across multiple UK legal entities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical accounting expertise to the UK Finance team, including preparation and review of financial reports and statements.
• Support the Country Financial Controller with ad hoc reporting and projects.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with accounting standards.
• Act as the key point of contact for annual statutory and control audits for all UK entities.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA).
• Strong technical accounting skills in IFRS or US-GAAP at the entity and divisional level.
• Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in the industry.

The role is based in Cramlington, conveniently located within a 15-minute walk from the train station. This is a full-time permanent position, offering a competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £50,000 per year.
