Financial Accountant/Accounts Payable Specialist

Premier Recruitment Group has the privilege to recruit on behalf of our very prestigious client based in Dartford, Kent.We are recruiting for experienced and forward thinking Financial Accountant/Accounts Payable Specialist. This is full time and permanent position and working for very well established company. Very interesting and varied role.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure supplier invoices are processed using critical thinking and that the transactions reach the correct Trial Balance codes.
• Manage the selection, approval and payment of supplier invoices within the due date. Liaise with vendors, as needed.
• Knowledge of handling transactions in multiple foreign currencies.
• Prepare a number of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• Assist the Head of Accounting & Compliance in monthly reporting of results.
• Analyse and report on Tangible and Intangible Asset additions, disposals and depreciation.
• Analysis of Operating Expenses and liaising with cost centre holders where needed.
• Assist in the management of stock takes.
• Assist in the completion of annual corporation tax pack.
• Manage credit collection process of the commercial entities.
• Assist in any internal/external audits.
• Approach the role in a flexible manner and be prepared to adapt to requirements outside of the immediate role that are essential to the organisation.

Skill Requirements:

• Qualified AAT or CAT and studying towards a professional qualification from a recognised accountancy body (e.g. CIMA, ACCA) or ACCA qualified.
• Minimum of 3 years accounts experience.
• SAP experience essential.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to use initiative and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
