Financial Accountant - 6 month Fixed Term Contract

My client is looking for a Financial Accountant to join them for a period of 6 months on a Fixed Term Contract basis, to assist them through a busy period. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading Kent based employer.

Description

As Financial Accountant you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the drafting of the statutory accounts, acting as the first point of contact for external auditors
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Regulatory returns
• IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 journal postings
• Supporting the new system implementation project

Profile

My client is looking for a strong Financial Accountant - you should have experience of producing the statutory accounts as well as liaising with auditors. They are willing to look at Part-Qualified, Qualified or Qualified by Experience candidates.

Ideally you will be available at short notice (although candidates on a note period will be considered) and you must be able to commit to the 6 month contract.

Job Offer

Between £45,000 and £50,000
