Finance Systems Manager - Sheffield / Hybrid

Elevation Senior Finance are delighted to be the recruitment partner to a leading international manufacturing business as they look to appoint a talented Finance Systems Manager for their team.

The role is located can be located in Sheffield or in the East Midlands and with you only needing to go to the office once or twice each week there is a lot of flexibility in the role.

This is a key role for the business where you will support the integration of a new ERP system into the business, as well as supporting the ongoing development of core financial systems.

Reporting into finance, and working closely with IT department responsibilities will include:

• Improve and develop more efficient workflows within Hyperion system
• Improve and develop the reporting functionality of Hyperion 
• Develop an online financial reporting and support for HQ, budget holders and sites
• Lead and build a more efficient month end process for head office
• Develop efficient general IT/Finance processes
• Build process documents for all systems used by Finance and provide regular training/workshops
• Be the first point of contact for Finance systems
• Support the Group Financial Controller and IT Director with Finance systems strategy
• Develop a plan for the integration of a new ERP system - Infor LN 
• Build understanding of the Hyperion structure & configuration, and make improvements where necessary
• Lead the relationship with the 3rd party support provided by Accenture
• Understand the mapping and input from site local finance system to Hyperion and resolving issues
• Support ad hoc requests related to the financial systems within Group Finance
• Support the IT Director with Financial projects including any upgrade / replacement of the current Hyperion system
• Assist with Group FC with all systems projects
• Regular liaison with IT Business Systems Managers
• Ad hoc projects supporting the CEO, CFO and Group FC
• Provide user training where applicable

Key Skills / Qualifications:

• ACCA or CIMA qualified or qualified by experience
• Previous systems/finance background
• Must have experience of systems implementations 
• Experience of configuring and working with Hyperion systems 
• Understanding of accounting concepts  
• A track record of delivering projects on time
