The successful candidate will be provided with full and comprehensive training.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily cashbook updates and reconciliation
- Processing purchase invoices
- Preparation of supplier payments
- Assistance with sales ledger
- Debt chasing
- Maintenance of control accounts
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly VAT returns
- Preparation of monthly intrastat declarations
Essential requirements:
- A confident person with good verbal and written communication skills
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Proficient with MS Office, Excel spreadsheets and accountancy software
- Organised, self-motivated, pro-active with the ability to multi-task
- The ability to accurately process data
- Excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience in payroll or account administration beneficial
- Willing to study towards and AAT qualification
- An effective team worker
