Pay Rates:

£23.00-£26.50 paye per hour

£25.50.00-£29.50 paye inclusive of holiday pay per hour

£29.00 -£34.00 umbrella per hour

All rates depending on depending on skill and experience.

Working Days: 37.5 hours per week (Hybrid working TBC at Interview stage) Flexible working can be discussed as long as contractual working hours needs are met.

Travel: A full UK driving licence and vehicle is required to travel between Trust sites.

Job Summary

To provide comprehensive financial business advice and information in support of the Clinical Director, General Management and Budget Holders.

To provide financial advice to the senior finance team members on a range of issues relevant to the Directorates and the Trust as a whole.

To manage and develop finance staff on a day-to-day basis and deputise for the Deputy Head of Finance when required

Skills, Knowledge and Experience.

  • CCAB/CGMA passed finalist
  • Broad and extensive business experience, with recognised expertise in a specialist financial area
  • Comprehensive understanding of NHS financial environment, General Ledger and ancillary finance systems
  • Understanding and appreciation of organisation structure, business strategy and the work of other departments
  • Excellent written & report writing skills & have the ability to convey complex financial issues to non Finance Managers.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and respond flexibly and quickly to change
  • Advanced IT skills particularly complex spread sheets, general ledger, activity and performance reporting systems.
  • Report writing and presentation skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills in order to manage conflicting demands from numerous budget managers.
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking in complex areas with a good awareness of the wider implications of actions
