Finance Operations Accountant
Are you looking for a dynamic role that offers a diverse array of financial and operational responsibilities? Look no further! We're seeking an experienced and talented individual to join our clients successful finance team supporting key stakeholders on an interim/temporary basis for c7months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Management: Ensure accurate accounting of all cash movements, maintaining transparency and precision in financial records.
  • Intercompany Transactions: Exercise control over intercompany transactions to uphold financial integrity and compliance.
  • Mentorship and Support: Mentor and support 2 part-qualified accountants, fostering their professional growth whilst providing your experience and support also to the Manager.
  • FX: Identify and evaluate foreign exchange charges, contributing to informed financial decision-making.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Take charge of budgeting and forecasting processes, analyzing both profit and loss (P&L) and balance sheet impacts for informed financial planning.
  • Variance Investigation: Investigate both P&L and balance sheet variances, identifying root causes and implementing corrective measures.
  • Audit Liaison: Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate smooth and efficient audit processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Provide timely ad hoc analysis to support various business initiatives or resolve payment incidents, contributing valuable insights to decision-making processes.
  • Project Support: Assist in project delivery and post-implementation analysis which could include suggestions of process improvements, streamlining.


Experience & Qualifications:

  • Finance Qualification ACA, ACCA or ACMA or equivalent
  • Proven experience in management and financial accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience of working in a large business/group
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and especially excellent Excel skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a pacey, collaborative environment.
