I am supporting a global organisation in Central Cambridge in their search for an experienced Finance Officer to join them on a fixed term contract basis, initially for 6 months.

This a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to work closely with the Head of Finance, ensuring accuracy in monthly and quarterly reports to senior management and financial compliance with company policies and procedures.


You will be involved in month end processes, supporting year-end processes and assisting with the production of statutory accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management and Reporting
- Conduct monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Produce consolidated monthly reports for senior management.
- Review monthly cashflow forecasts and provide feedback.
- Inter-company reconciliations
- Assist in preparing statutory accounts
- Support in data analysis for statutory reporting, audit, and internal KPI reporting.

Ideally, you will be AAT Qualified and actively studying ACCA or CIMA and in addition to your professional studies, you'll need to bring with you previous experience in financial reporting and/or auditing.

This is a full time role, working Monday to Friday and a hybrid working arrangement is available if required (minimum of 3 days in office a week). With their offices being in Central Cambridge, they are easily accessible by public transport or bike, but do not have any on site parking available.
