Finance Manager

Finance Manager with a professional accountancy qualification (CCAB or equivalent), excellent management/leadership skills and experience of financial management and planning and leading a year end process is required for a well-established housing association.

SALARY: £59,097 per annum + Excellent Benefits

LOCATION: Hybrid Working (you must be within a commutable distance to Evesham)

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Finance Managerwith a professional accountancy qualification (CCAB or equivalent), excellent management/leadership skills and experience of financial management and planning and leading a year end process.

Working as the Finance Manager you will effectively lead, manage and motivate the team responsible for the production of statutory accounts and processing of financial routines. This includes the maintenance of the finance and property databases as well as all creditor, debtor and payroll services.

As the Finance Manager you will act as the technical expert in accounting and lead on accounting policy and practice as well as having specific responsibility for the completion of quarterly VAT returns. You will also be responsible for the completing of the statutory accounts within agreed timescales, including managing the external audit process.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As theFinance Manageryou will have:

• A professional accountancy qualification such as CCAB or equivalent

• Previous experience in a finance/accounts manager role

• Excellent technical accounting abilities with experience of FRS102

• Experience in people management, team leadership

• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail

• Ability to work under pressure, deliver to deadlines and manage conflicting priorities

• Experience of planning and leading a year end process

• Experience of working within a housing association is desirable

• Experience with SUN and/or Aareon QL is desirable
