Finance Manager

The organisation is looking to bring on a talented Finance Manager into their team in Birmingham, the role offers some real flexibility and opportunities for the successful candidate. You have the freedom to implement changes and procedures with the intention of improving processes and increasing efficiency within the organisation. The organisation has grown at a strong pace in recent years, with the business expanding their services whilst maintaining a high standard. The role includes producing the management accounts for the organisation such as posting accruals and prepayments, alongside completing reconciliations on both the bank and balance sheet. It also includes overseeing a small team of 4 transactional colleagues who will need your assistance in this position with their queries and their development. The ability to make a real impact in this organisation and to take your impressive experience to help improve processes in the finance function will really ensure this role is exciting and rewarding.

• To have at least four years of experience producing the management accounts for your organisation, including posting journals, depreciation's and completing reconciliations.
• To have either managed or supervised a small accounting team, or to have a strong desire to take on this responsibility.
• To have experience speaking with customers and suppliers, and to have dealt with difficult queries or to have de-escalated conflict with these stakeholders.
• To be outgoing and personable, this role requires a confident individual who enjoys communicating with their colleagues and interacting with people. Personality is a big part of the organisation and their culture as the office is very welcoming.
