Finance Manager

Overview

Due to internal progression and the business consistently propelling forward, our family owned, SME Logistics client based near Solihull is currently on the look out for a motivated Finance Manager to come and take their reigns on the function and be the crucial bridge between the finance team and directorship. The successful candidate will be comfortable leading on the Management Accounts and managing a team.

The day to day in this role will offer the opportunity for the candidate to experience a wide range of the financial function. You will be expected to have experience managing a small team to allow you to seamlessly look after the transactional staff. You will be engaged in the production of the Management Accounts pack, compiling a flurry of reports for the Managing Director, including a detailed cash flow report, budgets and forecasts and variances.

Skills needed

• Have previous experience supervising/managing a team to allow a seamless transition into the role.
• Be a motivated individual happy to step up down the line as the business continues to grow.
• Be able to put together the management accounts pack, including detailed rolling cash forecasts.
• Be a confident communicator as you will be liaising directly with directors throughout the business outside of finance.
