I am currently working with a FTSE250 Manufacturing business. Based in Central London, they specialize in producing cutting-edge components and systems for the automotive, aerospace, and other transport industries. They are now looking for a Finance Manager to help support all finance functions in their next steps.

Responsibilites:

You will be responsible for 2 direct reports as well as:

- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.

- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.

- Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.

- Oversee the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.

- Communicate financial results to stakeholders, including senior management, investors, and board members.

- Manage cash flow, including forecasting cash needs and optimizing cash balances.

- Supervise accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records and transactions.

- Streamline financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

- Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.

- Coordinate audits and reviews by external auditors and regulatory agencies.

- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes, providing financial insights and recommendations.

- Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
