Finance Manager

I am currently partnered with a family owned £9m turnover FMCG business based in Theale, looking for a Finance Manager to be part of a team of 2. This role offers great opportunity to take full-ownership of all accounting functions and work closely alongside the Managing Director.

As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate end to end management reporting, including providing financial guidance and business partnering with the Managing Director and other stakeholders.

Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of financial tasks, from handling monthly management accounts, developing yearly budgets and managing year-end accounting with the external practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure budgets and forecasts are accurate and controlled
• Produce cash flow forecasts.
• Manage year-end processes.
• Oversee the preparation of the company’s financial accounts
• Lead, manage, and develop the finance team to maximize effectiveness, including providing regular feedback and development opportunities.
• Analyse monthly and quarterly financial data and present findings to the board and management team.
• Ensure alignment with overall financial goals, including providing financial advice to Directors and managers.
• Ownership of full payroll function for X employees
• Manage all finance policies related to debit, taxation, disposals, and capital requirements.
• Collaborate with the management team to formulate growth strategies and supporting with development of budgets.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., banks, auditors, payroll providers).
• Oversee debtors and bad debt management.

This role is best suited to a candidate who is CIMA/ACA/ACCA Qualified or be qualified by experience (QBE). The position is fully office based Monday to Friday. The office offers free onsite parking alongside benefits such as 20 days annual leave, pension contributions and a discretionary bonus.
