Finance Manager

A successful, growing niche business is seeking a motivated and experienced SME Finance Manager to lead its finance operations. This role involves leading a small team, reporting directly to the board, and playing a key role in helping the company achieve its ambitious growth plans. This is a highly commercial position that requires a hands-on approach and strategic financial management.

• Managing the accounts for the main business and two subsidiaries.
• Producing management accounts and handling VAT matters.
• Liaising with the bank and HMRC.
• Preparing annual budgets and profit & loss statements.
• Conducting variance analysis.
• Overseeing all aspects of running the finances of an SME.

• Proven experience in a similar Finance Manager role.
• A background in civil engineering would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Excellent leadership skills and an enthusiastic approach to management.
