Overview

My client is a small, family run business, and they have an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper/Finance Manager to join their small finance function on a permanent basis. Established for many years, this business has an excellent staff retention rate and they are recruiting this role due to growth and additional support within the finance team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for transactional duties such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, processing a small weekly payroll, and assisting with the production of management accounts for the Financial Controller. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a local and friendly finance function in this varied role where no two days will be the same.

Skills required
  • Have experience within an all round finance role
  • Be looking to join a business where you can stay for the long term and become part of the family!
  • Ideally have used Sage 50 in a previous role
  • Be able to commute to the office 5 days per week
  • Be an exceptional communicator! This is a lively and fun office environment

  • An early finish on a Friday at 2pm!

  • Regular pay reviews as you increase your ability and duties within this role
