An exciting end to end finance role within a stable SME in Reading.

In this role, you’ll take the lead of the finance function reporting into the owner of the business. You’ll have autonomy within the department to make it your own with the support of a direct report. Please note this role is office based.

Key Elements

  • Run the day-to-day finance function with the assistance of a transactional accountant.
  • Lead the budget setting process, ensuring operational management are accountable for their numbers.
  • Ownership of monthly payroll.
  • Handle VAT and HMRC cyclical requirements.
  • Work with external service providers - auditors and statutory accountant.

About You:

  • Qualified by experience (within a SME)
  • Prior exposure of running a finance department
