Finance Manager

Our client is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team on a temporary basis (35 per week) 

Role Responsibilities:

• Delivery of month end processes for own tasks and oversight for the overall delivery of month end
• Checking in with the team to understand any delays/issues and provide assistance
• Management and mentoring a team (4 direct reports)
• Identify process improvement and control deficiencies along with solutions

Key strengths:

Reconciliations skills, attention to detail, largely able to work independently (following a handover), self starter, knows what good looks like, strong communication and Excel skills.

Desirables: 

• Cash forecasting
• Payroll, accounting for loans, bad debt, provisions
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks
• Exposure to producing and developing policies within Finance (treasury, dividend, liquidity for example)
