Communicate Recruitment is currently working with an International FinTech Company in their search for a fully qualified Financial Accountant.

The company remains one of the largest in the UK, and has taken over the European market too, with millions of customers every year.

Based in South Wales, you will be required to travel 3x a week into the Office, reporting into the Financial Controller and essentially being their 'right hand person’.

Working closely with the Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will be responsible for producing the monthly management reporting, quarterly VAT and annual statutory accounts and managing audit requirements.

The ideal candidate will come from an Audit background and have strong experience within an Industry setting. You will be

  • Confident in preparing monthly management accounts
  • Liaising between external auditors
  • Checking payroll
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Implementing statutory accounting and IFRS16 software

This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is very technical and wants to stay within that sphere, with the chance to progress to Senior Management roles in the future.

Key Candidate Qualities:

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified (HAS TO BE FULLY QUALIFIED)
  • Experienced with preparing UKGAAP statutory accounts (FRS101, FRS102 and IFRS16)
  • Able to travel to South Wales
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Relevant PQE (1+ years min)
  • Personable

The remuneration for this role remains highly competitive with a range from £60 - 65k DOE + 12.5% Bonus
