Finance Manager

Mitchell Adam have recently put pen to paper, to confirm their collaboration with an established logistics organisation in Solihull, near to Birmingham Airport. This organisation has grown from humble origins and have continued to be successful in their industry and are now looking to bring on a Finance Manager into their team due to a period of expansion. Their offices are easily accessible by car due to their free on-site car park, as well as by bus and rail due to their local train station. The role will see the successful candidate take on the responsibility of supervising a small team of three experienced transactional colleagues, and assisting them with their duties when necessary. Alongside this supervision, you will be completing duties that cover a wide range of accounting responsibilities. Such as occasionally assisting with credit control, managing cash flow, producing management accounts and completing and presenting reports to the Managing Director and Financial Controller.

• To have a strong level of experience working in various accounting roles, including covering transactional tasks such as processing invoices and collecting debt, to producing management accounts and managing cash flow.
• This is a management position so there will be times where you will need to lead by example and produce a high quality of work.
• To be confident and charismatic, you will be presenting your findings and progress to the Managing Director, it is key to be able to communicate effectively in this position.
• To have aspirations to help and assist your colleagues, as a Finance Manager it will be paramount for you to be able to help your team grow and achieve their goals.
