This opportunity is perfect for a seasoned, experienced Finance Manager who excels within a small enterprise, and will report directly to the Managing Director whilst being the financial focal point of call for the entire company.

My client, a well established company who have been operating for around 20 years, and have a turnover of around £7 million, are now looking for someone to come in and take complete control of the finances of the organisation. The current Finance Manager has retired and they are looking for an experienced candidate to take over the vacancy, and to help the business expand in the near future.

From day one, when you come into the business, you will have complete control of the management accounts, MI reporting and strategic modelling to encourage further development of the business. The MD is looking for someone who can "grab the bull by the horns" and who can provide advice to all staff and lead on projects, investments and acquisitions. The chosen candidate will manage a team of around 7 staff members. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager who is keen to have cover finance, operations as well as have an input in business strategy.

It is preferable that the chosen candidate has a CIMA / ACCA qualification, however, it is not essential. He is more concerned that you have a strong experience in a similar setting with the correct attitude and aptitude to drive the business forward.

If you come from an SME business, have experience managing a small team and love working directly with an ambitious MD who has plans to grow a business, this role would be the perfect fit.
