I am currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a successful business in North Wales reporting directly to the Head of Finance. Due to rapid growth, the company is expanding its finance function and this is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced company to play an integral role in a busy finance team.

Brief Description / Purpose of the function:

  • Managing and mentoring a small team
  • Review/ownership of monthly management accounts of subsidiary companies
  • Provide variance analysis and commentary of management accounts
  • Produce monthly management accounts pack for the operations teams, lead meetings discuss results
  • Ownership of the annual budget and reforecasting
  • Supporting the Management Accountants with preparation of subsidiary statutory accounts
  • Auditor queries
  • Ensure compliance/filing deadlines are met
  • Supporting Head of Finance/Finance Director with information/reporting for board meetings and other ad hoc requests
  • Continuous review of financial, control and management information systems and procedures, implementing improvements across the organisation in consultation with the Head of Finance
  • Prepare commercial appraisals for new and existing business
  • Supporting Head of Finance and the Treasury Accountant with cashflow statements/information
  • Authorising payments on bank accounts as required
  • Responding to ad hoc information requests from senior management

Candidate requiremnts

  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified
  • Experience of using Management Information Systems
  • Experience of a management role
