Finance Manager

• Contract Type: 6-month fixed-term contract with potential to go permanent
• Location: Woodbridge
• Hours: Part-time, 25 hours per week
• Salary Range: £35,000 - £40,000 pro-rata

We are currently seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to join our client's team on a part-time basis for a 6-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing financial operations, developing financial strategies, and ensuring compliance with legal standards.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs, and both team and organisational budgets and actual expenditures.
• Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports; review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.
• Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a finance management role.
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of financial legislation and regulation.
• Professional relevant qualification is advantageous.
