Role: Finance Manager

Location: Central London - Hybrid

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 DoE

Full Time: Temp to Perm

VisionFR is excited to be helping a creative agency with world-class creativity and strategy at its core find a Finance Manager, a sole role reporting to the part time CFO. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a Finance/Commercial/HR/Operations role in an exceptional creative environment.

The Finance and Commercial team is a very well-oiled machine which works closely with the whole team, particularly with the Account managers and Production.

It is both a lead and support role as shown below, where being an organised self starter who has a 'can do’ approach will be key. The role will be a strong support for the CFO.

The role of the Finance Manager:

Finance - using Sage and Excel

  • Monthly production of P&L and all balance sheet reconciliations
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Posting accruals, prepayments, fixed assets depreciation
  • Monthly Cost forecasting for the FY re-forecast
  • Dealing with year end audit queries
  • Submitting quarterly VAT returns
  • Annual P11D and PSA submissions
  • Cashflow reconciliation and forecasting
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Payroll - ensuring monthly changes are sent on time and timely payment to staff
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Income forecasting
  • Credit control
  • Posting purchase invoices / credit cards
  • Processing expense claims
  • Weekly payment run
  • Finance training for new employees

Commercial/WIP

  • Supporting CFO with bi-monthly income/WIP meetings with producers to update the income and WIP forecast.
  • Monitoring WIP and ensuring job balances are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Working closely with Production around shoot payments and cash flow from clients for specific jobs

Human Resources

  • Assisting with employee offer letters, contracts and adhoc follow up
  • Administration of the company Annual Holiday entitlement

Operations

  • Administering areas such as Landlord payments and queries; printer contracts; mobile phones
  • Point of contact for mobile phone queries - (currently, although aiming to move shift this to another role)

Skill Requirements of the Finance Manager are:

  • Excellent Excel skills for modelling and report exporting
  • Experience with Sage preferable
  • CIMA/ACCA qualified or part qualified
  • Experience of producing Management Accounts
  • Previously worked in a similar role
