Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a Finance Manager for a well-established business in the Crediton area. This is a permanent role with hybrid working available.

In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Management Team, taking responsibility for running the finance function and providing key information to help inform decision making.

Key duties will include:

  • Production of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of annual business plans, forecasts and operational budgets
  • Design and implementation of financial performance reports as required to support management decision making
  • Bank account reconciliations
  • Managing the sales and purchase ledgers
  • Improving processes to create efficiencies
  • Ensure timely payment of supplier invoices
  • Report on income and expenditures
  • Oversee the outsourced payroll process
  • Seek commercial opportunities to increase income

The successful candidate with either be formally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience with a demonstrable skill set. You will ideally be used to working within a SME environment and be able work in both a hands on and strategic capacity.
