OnPath Energy, formerly Banks Renewables, was acquired by Brookfield Asset Management in 2023, one of the world's largest investment management companies with c $900 bn under management, and quoted on the NYSE. 
  
OnPath Energy is one of the UK's largest independent developers and operators of onshore wind farms, a genuinely dynamic sector of the economy currently, and is poised for significant growth and investment over the coming years.
  
The business is seeking to strengthen the accounting function ahead of this period, with the recruitment of a Finance Manager.
  
Reporting to the Finance Director, the role will be broad, involved right across the business, and  have responsibility for 
  
Financial and statutory reporting, including Quarterly reporting for Brookfield
Systems development and finance system owner
Provision of information to support ongoing projects
Financial planning
Tax and treasury matters including cash flow reporting
  
Prospects for future development are vey good, in a business that is expected to exhibit exceptionally strong growth in the coming years.
  
Potential candidates are likely to have a minimum of 3 years PQE, will be technically capable, and capable of communicating at all levels in the organisation.
  
The business and role will not stagnate, there is an assumption that the individual will grow with the organisation over time assuming more responsibility.
  
The role will be based at Rainton Bridge, and will require the successful candidate to be on site for the first few months, with the option to work a day from home thereafter.
  
Salary will not be a barrier for the right candidate, and benefits will include annual bonus and a beneficial car scheme.
