One of my clients, a leading construction supplier in the North West, are looking for a Finance Manager to join their Finance Team who can grow and develop with the business as they expand. My client are regional market leaders in their field, and have every plan to expand their business in the next few years, and are recruiting a Finance Manager who can assist with forecasting, budgeting, cashflows as well as compliance reports.

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing and innovative market leader, who require a determined Finance Manager who can grab the bull by the horns and get stuck into a range of duties, with the chosen candidate being responsible for managing a small finance team, as well as reporting financial information directly to the Managing Director, and so good communication and leadership skills are essential.

Working within a high growth company, the role will be fast paced and will require a candidate who can operate in high pressure environments and prides themselves on adding value to everything they do!

The ideal candidate:

• Part Qualified accountant studying ACCA or CIMA or Qualified by Experience.
• Preferably has a background in construction, distribution or logistics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written including attention to detail.
• Strong financial and technical understanding
• Excellent time management skills
• Day to day experience of using sage software and excel spreadsheets
