A reputable, acquisitive consumer retail group based in Central London is currently seeking a new Finance Manager to join the team. This is a newly created role due to growth and will be responsible for:

  • Production of the monthly management accounts and providing commentary.
  • Manage the annual budget process for properties and assets
  • Cash flow management, reporting and forecasting
  • Preparation and filing of statutory accounts for all entities, ensuring the accounting records for all entities are updated and accurate
  • Ensuring payments of Corporation tax and VAT are made on time and processing VAT returns.
  • Oversight of company payroll
  • Oversight of accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, account reconciliations etc.
  • Management of the annual audit process and liaising with external auditors
  • Handling UK & ROW Insurance policies
  • Dealing with client's overseas tax
  • Additional ad-hoc project work, reporting and analysis to support the wider team and business.

This role is best suited to a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) or someone who is qualified by experience (QBE). Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and work well with stakeholder at all levels. Strong organisational skills are essential, with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and to deadlines. In addition, you should have experience dealing with confidential projects and client facing experience is desirable.

Due to continued growth and projects, this role does require candidates to work in the office 5 days a week but with flexibility. In return you will receive a competitive salary and benefits.
