Finance Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join an international engineering company that focusses on sustainable solutions, in Oxford. They're looking for a UK Finance Manager to work across multiple legal entities, providing financial information to key stakeholders in the UK business and Group, to help the business drive forward.
Your new role
As the successful candidate, your duties will include:
- Managing month-end reporting, journals, intercompany reconciliations etc.
- Managing the annual audit and producing financial statements
- Controlling and reviewing GL processes
- Balance sheet control and reconciliation
- Maintaining the relationship with the overseas SSC
- Managing corporation tax, VAT and other tax compliance
- Managing a finance assistant, overseeing AP and AR
- Payroll accounting and support for HR
- Partnering with the sales team, supporting proposals and customer queries
- Lead the implementation of a new system
What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate, you will need to have / be:
- Qualified - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Qualified by Experience
- Strong accountancy knowledge and experience with statutory accounts.
- Knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS
- Strong Excel skills and ability to analyse information
- Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment,
- Excellent communication skills
