As a Finance Manager, you will be at the forefront of financial decision-making.

You will collaborate closely with various departments and business units, serving as the bridge between finance and operations. Your role will be dynamic and challenging, offering a unique opportunity to influence our financial strategies and make a real difference.

Duties:

Monthly Accounts

Preparation of monthly reported revenue including Flash, Deferrals & Final Reported revenue.

Work with Managers to ensure that revenue is recorded accurately & reported to external portals monthly to ensure billing is up to date.

Preparation and review of monthly management accounts including accruals, prepayments and depreciation and stock movements (yearend) with comments on key variances to PY / Budget where appropriate.

Ensure Sales invoices raised between sites (intercompany) & external agreements.

Ensure refunds are processed on a weekly basis with AP. Review & agree refunds with managers.

Process payroll journals from external payroll provider & reconcile PAYE control, Pension control accounts with Govt Gateway / External pension providers.

Ensure Monthly load to the consolidation tool, work with Group Consolidation to review errors / align reporting systems.


Balance Sheet Reconciliations

Preparation and review of Balance sheet reconciliations
Monthly reconciliation of accruals and prepayments
Monthly review of aged debtors and creditors
Maintenance and updating of Fixed Asset Register including monthly depreciation calculations.
Regular (at least quarterly) full review and reconciliation of all balance sheet balances

Budgets & Forecasting

Assist Senior Manager FPA with the preparation of the cost budgets for each clinic.
Review Headcount with managers in preparation for annual budget
Review CAPEX requirements with managers and monitor future spend to report to Group Finance (cash flow reporting)


In order to succeed in this role:

You will be a Finalist or Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA (or equivalent). Candidates educated to degree level would be desirable, although not essential.
Experience of working in the finance department of fast paced demanding commercial business
Advantage: Revenue recognition - including Deferred Revenues experience
Ability to run End to End P&L Balance sheet process.
Ability to showcase analytical and problem-solving skills with strong business acumen
Advanced MS Office skills, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, as well as experience with common management reporting systems including ERP and BI tools are an advantage
Ability to manage & manipulate data & present in a meaningful way
Ability to work independently and effectively with people at all levels
A well-structured way of working combined with a high degree of personal responsibility
Has the ability to take ownership of an area and drive improvement
