Finance Manager

The Role

The role reports into the Head of Finance, and would be responsible for performing monthly finance procedures, preparing annual statutory and regulatory filings and working on finance projects to improve procedures and operations.

This role has a broad remit, and will require you to be fairly 'hands-on', running processes and taking on projects as required.

Working closely with the Head of Finance, you would take responsibility for departmental budgets, monitor Treasury and Cash positions and prepare forecasting and variance analysis reports.

There would also be a requirement to look after the preparation of the month-end timetable, and ensure that all regulatory reporting deadlines are met, including statutory financial statements.

This role will interact with various stakeholders, including acting as a liaison for the external audit process and partnering IT to develop reports.

The Person

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with an understanding of corporate financial reporting. Experience of working in the Insurance sector would be hugely beneficial, although this is not essential.

You will have experience of preparing management accounts and returns to the Financial Regulator, and knowledge of Solvency II and reinsurance statements is desirable.

This is an exciting time to join, as the business is growing rapidly and has fantastic plans in place!
