Adecco Engineering have an exclusive opportunity for Finance Manager to join our client's Head Office in Hillington, Glasgow

Reporting to the FD, you to work closely with the Directors and Managers of the business, providing them with accurate information on the company's evolving financial position that will support future sales strategies and investment decisions.

Our client has been established for 20 years and has subsidiary businesses specialising in and the Commercial Packaging and IT Services. They are currently expanding their manufacturing business.

Candidates should hold a relevant finance degree or equivalent and will ideally have gained some commercial accounting experience with Manufacturing Industry. ICAS accreditation or working towards (or equivalent) is highly desirable. Support towards gaining accreditation throughout employment may be available also.

The role will enable.

Core Duties/Responsibilities:
Provision of Monthly Customer Price File Management / Adjustments.
Customer Sales & Profit Analysis.
Supplier Price File Analysis.
Develop external relationships with appropriate contacts.
Supporting Supplier Audits both in Glasgow and Crewe.
Producing accurate financial reports for Management deadlines.
Analysis of competitors and market trends.
Analysing change and advising accordingly.
Researching and reporting on factors influencing business.
Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
Managing budgets.
Support the Finance Business Partner with the delivery of month end, quarterly forecasts and annual budget for Manufacturing, PME and Commercial functions
Provide valuable data analysis to contribute to accurate financial reporting, and work with the team to drive improvements
Identify efficiencies and build improvements to existing financial processes and reports

What we are looking for:


Strong analytical and attention to detail skills.
Career driven.
Excellent Communication Skills.
Current driving licence.
Hands on experience with Sage would be advantageous.
Relevant experience in Manufacturing environment
Financial/Accounting Degree (or equivalent) - desirable
ACCA, CIMA or working towards -desirable
QBE candidates may also be considered.
