MacKenzie King are recruiting a Finance Manager for a growing farming/hospitality and events business on the outskirts of Woodbridge. As Finance Manager you will provide meaningful data to the management and owners to enable strategic decision making to support the continued growth of the business.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

- Preparation of management accounts for review at management meetings

- Payroll, VAT and HMRC processes.

- Analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and presenting findings to management including analysis of the operational performance of the business.

- Driving continuous improvement of end to end accounting processes.

- Set up and integration of reporting systems on Xero where required.

- Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary and manage stakeholder expectations.

- Contribute to developing long term and strategic business plans as required.

- Developing external relationships with auditors, solicitors and bankers.

- Review and manage end to end audit process of current systems - while acting as the first point of contact for external accountants.

You will ideally have experience working in a finance team for an SME where you have managed the accounts process from start to finish. Reporting into the Owners you will have experience of producing meaningful financial information to help with the growth of the business. Previous experience with using Xero would be useful but not essential.

You will have ambition to step into a Finance Director role in time and be passionate about making a difference to both people and the planet.
