Finance Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a leading manufacturing business in Sheffield as they look to bring in a new Finance Manager into the team. 

This is a newly created role to support the Financial Controller and provide business partnering supports as well as ensuring the integrity and accuracy of accounting records.

It will be a varied role with duties to include: - 

• Identify anomalies/issues with regards to accounting records, ensuring accuracy at all times
• Business partnering with heads of department and senior finance leaders 
• Prepare and analyse financial reports, including budgets and forecasts
• Assist with developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
• Assist in leading and mentoring finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
• Identify opportunities to improve processes across the department/ wider business

Experiences/ Qualifications:

• CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA Qualified
• At least 5+ years of experience in finance, ideally worked up to managerial level
• In-depth knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Proven leadership and team management skills
