This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Accountant - You will be working for a leading global brand in an autonomous role. The business turnover has almost doubled in the past 12 months and YOU will now play a key part in it's continual growth.

The Ideal Candidate must be 'hands on' and:

  • Solutions focused team player with a passion for what they do
  • Must have a positive "can do" attitude and be willing to roll your sleeves up when needed
  • Ability to confidently deal with stakeholders across all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail, numerical & data entry skills
  • Comfortable working under pressure and delivering on multiple deadlines
  • USA and/or international experience ideal

Role Objectives include:

  • Production of Management Accounts and internal KPI reporting
  • Liaise with third parties, banks, HMRC, auditors & other key stakeholders
  • Processing transactions including; Purchase ledger, sales ledger, nominal ledger, payroll journals, bank posting, reconciliations, credit cards and petty cash
  • Reconciliation of; bank accounts, credit cards, PAYE/NIC and wages, petty cash, VAT
  • Calculation and posting of; depreciation from asset registers, accruals pre-payment and accrued income
  • Complete bookkeeping timely and accurately on Xero
  • Operational KPI reporting
  • Sales and margin analysis
  • Supervision and development of team members
