Sheridan Maine is delighted to partner with a well-established organisation based in Glastonbury, renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation in the industry.  They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join its team.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving financial strategies and ensuring the financial health of the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented professional to contribute to the success of a thriving company while enjoying the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement.

Your responsibilities as the Finance Manager will include:
  • Conduct monthly business reviews, partnering with departments on P&L performance.
  • Review team outputs for group P&L/BS, identifying and correcting risks/errors.
  • Complete and validate monthly P&L/BS consolidation reports, including P&L outlook roll forward.
  • Distribute monthly cost centre reports, highlighting budget variances.
  • Manage group stock and B2B debtor reporting, ensuring compliance.
  • Handle compliance reporting across the group for a specific portfolio.
  • Develop delegation of authority matrix and maintain compliance log.
  • Update fortnightly borrowing base certificates.
  • Support contract manufacture payments and outlook process.
  • Manage a team of three transactional finance staff.

To be considered for the position of Finance Manager, you will require:
  • A professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
