A global commodities business with operations in 3 continents, this role sits in their EMEA HQ and will report to the head office

Your new role
In this role you will be joining a well established team, taking ownership for reporting. There is a great work life balance and working hours are 9-17.00. The role is a broad opportunity with ownership of group consolidation reporting.

Duties include:

  • Ownership and liaison contact for year end reporting and consolidation
  • Responsibility for review and delivery of management accounts
  • Analysis
  • Working with heads of department
  • Reporting to the Divisional FD


What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be a senior qualified accountant with an interest in working for a global business, within the energy/commodities/investment sector. You will need to be able to deal with senior stakeholders as well as taking ownership for developing robust reporting processes.

What you'll get in return
You will get the opportunity to work in a very important role within the business and have exposure to senior stakeholders from the word go. Reporting to the CFO this is the 2nd most senior person in finance in the group and whilst not being a management role on day one, there is definitely a route to that in the long term.
